Thanks to Bill and Peggy Hodges, From the Heart Rescue, many more cats from the Clinton County Humane Society are finding homes. These four boys were found dumped along Highway 38 in Clinton County. All of them have found happy homes thanks to the efforts of From the Heart Rescue located in Westfield. Their cats are available for adoption from the Carmel PetsMart on US 31 and 146th Street. All of the kittens/cats are tested for feline leukemia/FIV and spayed or neutered at the rescue's expense. From January 1st to March 14th of this year, Peggy and Bill adopted out 42 cats rescued from our shelter. Just two weeks ago, they pulled another 17 cats. Of those 17 felines, seven have already found homes. If you happen to stop by the Carmel PetsMart, please tell Peggy and Bill how much we appreciate what they do for us. This rescue has been invaluable to us! Our shelter is usually full to capacity with cats, and their frequent visits to us literally save lives. Please visit their site and thank them for what they do. Please also consider making a donation to them. They are wonderful people and we hope they keep doing their good work for years to come!
