Paw Pals of Clinton County is dedicated to helping the homeless pets of Clinton County, Indiana. We work tirelessly to raise money for the care and comfort of our “paw pals” at the Clinton County Humane Society and spend countless hours working with them to find their forever homes. We need your help! Our furry friends can’t speak for themselves. They need us (and you!) to be their voices. Together we can make a difference! Won’t you join us?

Volunteer Puts in Countless Hours
Rick Ploughe faithfully comes every Sunday to organize volunteers and help walk the dogs. There is nothing Rick won't do to help the homeless animals including taking animals to the vet, transporting animals to rescues, fixing fences of foster homes, helping take pictures, donating his time and money to help make the Humane Society of Clinton County a better place. Here Rick is shown placing a new collar on Blossom after giving her a bath prior to her adoption.

Rick has done an awesome job getting Sunday volunteers organized. His love of the animals is obvious!
Rick's dedication is amazing!!!

Okay, this is exactly why I always try to stay on the other side of the camera! The lady who posted this puts in more hours than me volunteering and has been doing it for many more years than I have. There are also some in Paw Pals, on the board, and other volunteers at the shelter whose dedication puts me to shame.
I really do enjoy volunteering for the animals. I appreciate all of you that help in any way! If we can continue to increase our volunteer base and get it organized, we can do great things for the animals and it won't be too overwhelming for any of us.
By the way Lisa, I can envision an upcoming post featuring our beloved founder of Paw Pals! I have pictures of some of the rest of you too! :)
