From the Heart Comes to our Rescue Once Again!
Peggy Hodges, From the Heart Rescue director/founder, saved the day once more for the cats at Clinton County Humane Society. Peggy rescued 32 cats from our shelter on Thursday, May 28th. Peggy takes both adult cats and kittens to adopt at the Carmel PetsMart. She came just in the nick of time. Sadly, within 24 hours after she left, we received 22 more cat/kitten surrenders. With Peggy's assistance, many more 
cats/kittens from our shelter have been
placed in loving homes.

Peggy is so cool!!! My wife and I have sent checks to her several times. Her work is very important to our shelter. She has saved hundreds of lives by rescuing our cats and kittens when we are full. Hopefully, we can figure out a way to get everyone to spay and neuter so we don't keep filling up. Please have your own animals spayed and neutered, encourage anyone you know to do the same, and help us come up with ideas to convince people that this needs to be done.
